What our doctors can do for you
Our doctors offer a wide range of services to ensure your health is well-managed and supported. From diagnostics to referrals, we provide comprehensive care to meet your needs.

Our Services include:
✓ Conduct diagnostic evaluations
✓ Order diagnostic laboratory tests
✓ Prescribe appropriate medications
✓ Provide medical certificates for work or educational purposes
✓ Facilitate referrals to specialists

What they can't do
Our registered Family Health Organization (FHO) doctors, while skilled in providing comprehensive care, do have certain limitations in terms of what they can do.
1. Medical Emergencies
FHO doctors do not handle medical emergencies. Patients experiencing a medical emergency are advised to go to the nearest hospital emergency department or call 911.
3. Walk-in Clinic Services for Non-Rostered Patients
FHO doctors usually do not see patients who are not rostered (i.e., not registered) with their practice. They provide after-hours care for rostered patients only.
2. Specialized Care Outside of Primary Practice
FHO doctors are focused on primary care and do not perform specialized procedures or treatments that require a specialist. Patients needing these services are referred to appropriate specialists.
Why You Should Avoid Walk-In Clinics
01
Your doctor knows you best
Walk-in doctors do not have access to your full chart, history, medications, or allergies. This can lead to missed details and inconsistent care.

02
Walk-in visits do not come back to us
We do not automatically receive test results, imaging, or visit notes from walk-in clinics. This creates gaps in your care.

03
It can delay your treatment
Missing or incomplete information often means repeat visits, repeat tests, and slower follow-up.
04
Walk-ins don’t manage ongoing health issues
They treat a single problem in the moment. Your Malvern physician manages your long-term health, including chronic conditions, mental health, medication monitoring, and preventive care.
05
Walk-in doctors cannot complete your ongoing forms
Only your Malvern doctor can complete disability forms, insurance forms, work/return-to-work notes, chronic condition paperwork, and mental health documentation.
Using walk-ins often means we must repeat assessments, which slows your care.
